Wizard's Crown was one of the first graphical RPGs to appear on a personal computer. The Crown of the Emperor has been stolen by the traitorous Wizard of Thunder and the player has to trek through a variety of dungeons, castles, and the streets of the city of Arghan in their quest to retrieve the crown.
The player can create six player characters from classes such as sorcerer, priest, fighter, ranger and thief and distribute a number of skill points among attributes such as weapon and magic skills. When a battle begins, the game switches to a tactical combat screen. After the battle, the characters can collect treasure from the fallen and later sell these items in town. ~ Aidan Doyle, All Game Guide
