Based on the popular game Sudoku, Zendoku features similar gameplay combined with martial art themes. Zendoku follows the basic rules of Sudoku, and gamers must fill in all the blank squares with symbols so that each row and column contains each token with none repeated. Zendoku offers single-players four modes of play. In "Quest" mode, gamers must select from a variety of playable characters and work through each puzzle in that avatar's storyline. Players select from five difficulty levels ranging from easy to master and then must beat the clock in "Zen" mode. "Attack Box" is a training ground of sorts that allows gamers to learn and practice the different attacks used in the multiplayer modes. Players who want traditional Sudoku action may test their skills in "Classic" mode, and by accessing a wireless connection gamers can play with friends in competitive or cooperative multiplayer activities. ~ Gracie Leach, All Game Guide
