Released the same year as the original Zork, Zork II: The Wizard of Frobozz, continued the great underground empire series, expanding to include the lands of Antharia, Borphree, The Frigid River Valley, The Gray Mountains, Gurth and Mithicus.
The object of the game is to gain the powers of a Wizard. To do this, you must solve a series of puzzles. You must gain all nineteen spell powers to win the game.
There are also several object you must also gain to win, including a white wand and three crystal spheres.
Various versions of the game are different from the others. Some might allow you to go where another version will bar you from going. You can also cross over from Zork II to Zork III at a certain place in the game, if you have one of the later versions of the game. ~ Lisa Karen Savignano, All Game Guide
