i've been scouring the web for a good gaming social network. its a field thats just starting to take shape...so far...gaming sites suffer badly. our hosts gamervision are the closest thing we have to a real social network site, what could make it better?...and what sites do you use for game community, info and the like?! |

Hello, i think we should stop thinking and do something for this site. well as you can see this site is not very popular. I myself love games(PC) so i want to help the site spread and make fame. So Some point for you all (PLEASE READ AND DO WHAT IT SAYS) --
1If you have some contacts or friend who like games tell the about this site and force them to join.
2When your friends join communicate with them make them new friends so that they also tell their friend about GV.
3Now you see a network is being formed in this way GV will become famous.
4Now make some quality gropus which are GOOD. See, this is a gaming site and the people here are making groups as HOUSEMAKING, WE LOVE PUPPIES etc. these people are just crap.
5 Now put your own ads of GV on places such as your website, as a video on youtube etc. here you can put the links for youtube on free and maybe some people will be attracted.
ULTIMATELY THESE ALL STEPS WILL MAKE GV A BETTER PLACE.
well, thats yet to be determined. gamervisions the best we got at the moment, unless anyone's found anything better. there's a big monster list that makes a social network site worth using. i was telling sean earlier...
"lastly, you need some sort of web 2.0 catch. you need to be able to "tag" something...maybe reviews...or a better change your theme, maybe to what game your currently playing...i'll continue to think of something, but right now there isn't a one feature that people will pine over. its not a matter of insane technology either, its just having the right social concept applied to the right static page feature. take something gamers are passionate about...their equipment? a specific company of games? ... its hard because finding that passionate unifying trait isn't easily defined within all gamers. facebooks winning feature was tagging people in a photo...hands down thats the only reason they are so big right now....you want to go huge...find that feature people will go crazy about. it has to be perfectly in the center of gaming and people."
