Fixed Screen Shooter

Style

Shooters of this style are played in a single screen. As in all shooters, there is an emphasis on ranged combat. While some fixed-screen shooters feature scrolling backgrounds that give an illusion of motion, all of the gameplay takes place in one static display area.
