The last two Fight Night games were excellent, but shared the same weakness; a weak story/career mode.  The next iteration, Fight Night Champion, looks to remedy this by adding a more cinematic, dramatic storyline mode in addition to the standard career mode.  Two new trailers (it’s actually more like 1 ½ trailers) give us our first look at Andre Bishop, the star of the story mode.

news

For months now, rumors have persisted about Microsoft offering some sort of subscription television service to its Xbox 360.  This console generation, after all, was supposed to be as much about content delivery as it was about HD gaming, and while Netflix, ESPN, and Last.FM have all found homes on the 360, full-on TV broadcasting remains the exclusive domain of cable companies.  According to a Reuters report, however, that may all change very soon, as Microsoft is reportedly in talks to bring a cable-like online subscription service to the Xbox 360.

FANTASTIC FOUR: IMAGINAUTS
Written by MARK WAID
Art by MIKE WIERINGO

I’ve always enjoyed the writing of Mark Waid, as well as the art of Mike Wieringo. When the two creators teamed for a run on Fantastic Four, it was the first time I’d bought the comic in more than a decade. Full of amazement and wonder, the duo’s run on the comic starring Marvel’s flagship family showed me just how interesting these characters could be. No matter what you think you know about the Fantastic Four, Waid and Wieringo can change your perception to something even greater.

Mark Wahlberg Will Play Nathan Drake

news

When talking about the rumored Uncharted movie, it seems almost silly to consider anyone other than Nathan Fillion for the lead role of Nathan Drake.  The character is so clearly based on the look and attitude of the Firefly/Castle actor that people just assumed that if a movie were made, he’d be tapped for the lead.  Well, apparently Hollywood doesn’t share that opinion, and had someone else in mind for the role; Mark Wahlberg.
