Amidst Troubles EA Announces Dead Space Wii, Other Sequels
Mass Effect 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 In The Works.

Despite recent financial difficulties, EA took the time during a financial report conference call to unveil three pretty big announcements. With little more than a "Hey, these games are coming out eventually," John Riccitello revealed a Wii version of Dead Space was on the schedule, along with officially declaring Mass Effect 2 would be released by the end of 2010, and surprising everyone me by dropping a vague 2010 release date for a Battlefield: Bad Company sequel.
Wait, hang on, what was this about a Wii-ified Dead Space? Oh, you actually don't have any thing else to say, John? Just throwing Dead Space Wii out there for everyone to start salivating speculating about. That's fair.
Seriously, though, we all pretty much knew Mass Effect was getting a sequel, it was just a matter of when. The Battlefield follow-up comes as a bit of a shocker, but hopefully that news means good things for DICE, and the potential for another Mirror's Edge. But, man... Dead Space Wii... that could be... pretty sweet. RE4 worked pretty well as a third-person shooter on the Wii, so if done right, the Wii might just have its next "must" title. And from a third party no less. Wow. Just... just wow.

Dead Space Wii could be good, but... let's just hope they don't mess it up.
Sounds cool, I would like to see a Wii version of Dead Space. I mean cutting off limbs with the Wii remote, very interesting. Mass Effect 2 was always a matter of when, and as for Battlefield: Bad company, didn't see that one coming. I liked the first one, so hopefully the second is as good or better. DICE should be glad because after that "rush for the holidays and way underdeveloped" Mirror's Edge that did poorly in sales, I hope that they rethink their game plan for a sequel.
Dead Space on the Wii?? Yea no thanks to that.
I'm with you Voyou. Dead Space is decidedly an HD experience.
