Some days I wish I were as much a critical darling as BioShock was. People would love me and laud me with praise. Instead, I'm just some guy on the internet that gets his panties in a bunch any time new information about a hot game release arrives. Case in point, the teaser trailer for BioShock 2. It gets me hotter than 13 year-old girl reading Twilight for the first time.

All terrible mental images aside, there's a lot to like about this footage. We get to see the effects of our actions in the previous game on Rapture, and with the glimpse at the Big Sister, we can start postulating how annoying fighting her is going to be. Seeing some of the old plasmids in action with some ramped up graphics was pretty sweet too.

I love the flooding of the chamber. I love the Splicers trying to get their hands on the Little Sister I'm apparently trying to protect. Getting glimpses at both the drill and the rivet gun has me excited for the possibility of changing suits or armaments on the fly. Sadly, the game isn't out right this second, and I'm going to have to find a way to get over these BioShock 2 blueballs. Maybe I'll go back and start playing BioShock again. Hopefully that'll work.
