Thank God all this footage from various games keeps showing up for me to talk about. I was going out of my mind with boredom just waiting for something to happen on the Left Coast. While the Microsoft press conference was full of footage yesterday, the footage I was most disappointed to miss was that of Mirror’s Edge. Centering on a future where couriers are rebels who use their skills in parkour to help some sort of resistance movement, you may not be overwhelmed by the concept. The actual gameplay, on the other hand, will pretty much grab you by the eyes and demand your full attention.



I honestly cannot believe they way in which they’ve pulled off first person running. I thought it would be bland, and pretty stupid looking. Boy was I wrong. After having seen this, there’s just no way I’m not getting this game. From the simplistic style of the art direction, to the seamlessness of the running into combat into running, just about everything I watched makes me want this game yesterday. I’m now anxiously awaiting any more news on this title our Somethingcast boys have to share from their coverage of E3.
