Another minute passes, and another trailer is released. This time we get a glimpse into what THQ has planned for the first next-gen UFC game, UFC 2009 Undisputed. As a huge mixed martial arts fan, getting a game with the power of the 360/PS3 behind it excites me to no end. Rumored to have been in development for over a year, it’s nice to see some more footage emerge. Just go ahead and hit play to see just what happens when a virtual Forrest Griffin and Quentin Jackson get in the ring.



I really hope someone announces a release date for this. The longer they wait, the more chance there is of losing fighters off the roster. Enough about the details; the game flat out looks great. I also love the way they cut the promo tying into Forrest winning the belt like he did in real life 2 weeks ago. If THQ puts half the amount of time into this as they do their WWE franchise, we’ll get a good game. But if they put everything they’ve got into this, this game will floor you.
