Microsoft may have stolen some of Sony's thunder last year with the announcement that Final Fantasy XIII would be available on both consoles, but this year is a bit of a different story. With both companies getting a piece of the Square Enix pie, it was only fitting that the rivals would get different video showcases for the most anticipated RPG of 2010.

The Xbox press conference showcased some gameplay, giving us the first look at summons, but I actually enjoyed the lengthy new trailer PlayStation showcased. There's a ton of stuff going on, and like with any FF game trailer, not a whole lot makes any sense. Of course, none of that matters because your eyes will be overloaded with the sensational graphics. I don't know how Square Enix does it, but every Final Fantasy game they develop always seems to be at the cutting edge of processing power.
