Well, the PSP GO has been let loose upon the masses, and with the official announcement came some upcoming game reveals that many of us expected, but were still only rumors. Now we have confirmation that there will be a brand new Metal Gear game for the handheld. If you watch the Qore video, right around the 3:00 mark, John Koller actually states that there's a Metal Gear game currently in development for the yet to be released console.

Obviously the Kojima's Next website was building up to some sort of Metal Gear related announcement. While rumors are still flying that there are multiple games in production at this point, we can officially count on a PSP game starring either Big Boss or Sunny/Olga/Raiden's Son coming down the road. I wouldn't be surprised if this MGS game was one of the launch titles for the PSP GO, but I also wouldn't be surprised if this game didn't come out for another two years.

Whatever the case, expect to hear lots more about the PSP GO, Metal Gear, and all the other plans Konami and Sony have when Gamervision heads to E3 next week.
