Among the huge bombs dropped during Microsoft's E3 press conference, one game managed to initially slip through the headline grabbing cracks. Joy Ride, a free to play kart racer, will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade by year's end. The game will feature avatars, crazy race tracks, and customizable racecars. There will be a microtransaction system for people to get new cars and tracks, but you won't have to spend any money if you don't want to. Players will also be able to race on tracks they don't own as long as the person they're playing with has already downloaded the course.

I'll admit, the game falls right into my price range (free), so I'm not above checking this game out. Be sure to check back for more on this game, and all the others, as Gamervision's coverage of E3 continues.
