*UPDATE* A handful of videos have now surfaced showing off even more of the re-imagined Lucasarts game. Check them out below.

Just announced this morning, the excitement in the Gamervision offices for The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition has reached a fevered pitch. I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow morning when everyone gets a load of this first few minutes of gameplay footage of the Lucasarts remaster.

There's not a whole lot of action in this freshly cut bit of gameplay, but at least we get to see the updated graphics and hear the new voice-overs. I'm betting that the game will be available to play on the floor, so be sure to check back and see if Coop and Sarah get a hands-on with the Pirate LeChuck while they're at E3.
