Video Games... Serious Business.

Series Epic Boobs
Did you hear the news? Guillermo Del Toro is making a video game. He's been an advocate for the medium as a unique and interesting way to tell and story that's just as viable as film, and now he's going to prove it to the world. Teaming with THQ and Volition, Del Toro is hoping his title Insane will redefine terror for an entire generation of video game players. On today's show, we discuss the virtues of games as art, and what it means to have a supporter like Del Toro in our corner. Like the title says, it's serious business.
Looking for a good twice-weekly video podcast to watch? Us too. That's why we created Epic Boobs. Every Monday and Thursday you'll find the four of us talking about the things you need to know about. Why should you care what we think about current events? Because we're awesome. Also, the show is basically Continue? plus Luke, so it's got to be the best thing on the internet since, well, ever.

Del Torro is such a visual artist... which works so great with video games. So I'm quite excited about that. Also:
Video games are certainly art... but it is FUNCTIONAL art. That's the main difference. It's interactivity can be the greatest tool towards playing upon your emotions and forcing you to examine your worldview than anything else.
Insane is going to be Eternal Darkness 2???

oh, and you suck Phillies nation... what kind of rotation madness is that
[grumbles from small market baseball town]
first of all, we don't suck. don't blame us for your team's lack of production thanks to its owner becoming commissioner of the MLB. besides, small market teams are awesome. i love the twins and athletics, and though it may appear that the Phils are slowly turning into the Yankees of the NL, let's not forget that until this upcoming year, the LA Dodgers still spent more than like anyone else.
