Fallout 3 Banned in India
Hello, and welcome to Gamervision's first episode of "Okay or Not Okay." Today, we'll be discussing what's okay or not okay in India. Don't forget to get out your home version to play along with us here at the studio. Before we get to today's game, let me introduce our guest host, Vault Boy! He'll be here to help us answer the big question, "Okay or Not Okay." Let's hear it for him. Alright, it's time for our first question.
1. Cheap Indian Knock-offs of American Superheroes: Okay or Not Okay

Yes, that's right. These horrible films are okay. Good work. Time for our next question.
2. Smoking: Okay or Not Okay

Ooooh, looks like this is a double no-no. Smoking is actually banned in public. Looks like this guy is in for a stoning. Off we go to number three.
3. Bollywood Starlet Aishwarya Rai: Okay or Not Okay

Looks like Vault Boy likes this one a lot. And who could blame him. Aishwarya gets our patented "Three Thumbs Up, It Must Be A-Okay" stamp. Congrats, Aish. Let's try not to get too distracted. Moving right along.
4. Salman Rushdie: Okay or Not Okay

Yikes! Right after a big okay comes a huge "Three Thumbs Down, Get Out of Town" not okay. Vault Boy certainly doesn't like Rushdie, and apparently neither do the people of India.
5. Ganesh: Okay or Not Okay

Looks like the folks over there have taken a liking to the Hindu God. Can't say I blame them. Ganesh is pretty damn badass. Alright, just one more question left. Hope you viewers at home have all been keeping score.
6. Fallout 3: Okay or Not Okay

Well shucks. I guess this game is just too darn culturaly sensitive for the folks over in India. That's a darn shame too, because this game was shaping up to be amazing.
It's true folks. Fallout 3 is as bad as Salman Rushdie. A man who had a fatwa placed on him by the Ayatollah. Hot diggity, that must be bad. Nothing drives me crazier than seeing a game get banned, especially after seeing all the other things a country lets slide by censor boards.
That just about wraps this episode up. We want to let Vault Boy know how much we appreciated his help today. To those of you at home, thanks for playing, and keep reaching for the stars.

It's cool, India. You can play Fallout 3 at my house. And later we can steal some of my older brother's cigs and smoke 'em in the woods out back. But you have to put in a good word for me with Aishwarya Rai. Deal?

Hold on one sec, here! Smoking's NOT okay!? Well if smoking isn't okay to do then why bother banning Fallout 3? I mean, video games don't slowly kill people over time, do they?
In all seriousness this is in the same category as Little Big Planet having to be recalled and redistributed. Isn't this against fair trade and commerce to ban an entire entity that the rest of the world will have? Does their government really believe that gamers won't get their hands on this game through imports? They do have imports, right? I don't know.
