First Full-Color Look At DC's Batman: Arkham Asylum Figures
Video Game Figures Due To Arrive January 2011.

Though we've known about DC Direct's upcoming line of action figures based on the hit video game Batman: Arkham Asylum, no one had seen a single image of the toys, let alone known which figures were going to make the cut for the line's first series. Today, DC Comics released their solicitations for the month of August, and included therein were images of said action figures. It's been a long time since I've bought every single action figure in a series, but for these guys, I'm willing to make an exception.

I'm glad Scarecrow made the cut for the first wave. He was one of the more memorable characters in the game, and his design was the best the character ever looked. The same could be said for Harley. Though her costume was a bit of a radical re-design, it fit within the universe of the video game quite well, and looks just as good in action figure form. I'm not as happy with the Batman sculpt, even though he looks like he did in the game. There's just something off about his coloring that doesn't sit well with me.
The figures are due out in January, and though they're not currently priced, it's likely they'll fall in the $15-$20 range when they finally hit shelves. What do you guys think?
