Way back when, during the weeks before LittleBigPlanet released, the US Sony blog released pictures of Sackboys dressed like Sephiroth and Old Snake, but with no clear date mentioned at all. Today, the Asian Sony blog posted pics of way more than just Old Snake. Joining the Snake costume will be Psycho Mantis and Meryl. I thought the Old Snake costume was cool, but now that there's a Meryl one coming, I'm definitely getting the whole set.

In addition to the costumes, like this week's Christmas themed pack, there will be additional level creation pack. It looks like there's some new stickers, and some MGS inspired textures, but in the tiny little picture it's pretty hard to make stuff out. Either way, I'm looking forward to it.

While there's currently no date, just a vague "Coming Soon," it was reported this update was hitting the Asian PSN on December 18th. That date has since been taken down, so your guess is as good as mine as to when this stuff will be available. There's also no word on price, but using my excellent guesstimation skills, I'd wager this pack to be around $5 (keep in mind this is in no way the actual retail price).
