Metallica's Guitar Hero DLC Gets Release Date
Oh, And So Does The Actual Album
by 00.19
Metallica.com has September 12th listed as the date you'll be able to grab their new album, Death Magnetic. You're wondering why this is news, aren't you? Well, if you've been paying attention to Metallica-related gaming news, you'd know September 12th is also the date you'll be able to download the entire album as content for Guitar Hero III. The album will also be released as content for the upcoming Guitar Hero World Tour, but that's not coming out for another few months, so don't even worry about it. Instead, ponder this track listing for the upcoming release:
"That Was Just Your Life"
"The End Of The Line"
"Broken, Beat & Scarred"
"The Day That Never Comes"
"All Nightmare Long"
"Cyanide"
"The Unforgiven III"
"The Judas Kiss"
"Suicide & Redemption"
"My Apocalypse"
That's right kids, "Unforgiven III." Finally, some resoultion to the old man stuck in a wall story. Honestly, I'm looking forward to this album. I felt their last was a bit of a letdown, and I'm looking for a return to form with Death Magnetic. Too bad this stuff is supposedly only going to be in Guitar Hero games. I'd love more Metallica showing up during mystery setlists in Rock Band. Here's hoping there'll be some actual Kirk solos this time around. There's no word on pricing yet, but stay tuned to Gamervision for more on this as it develops.
