MLB 09: The Show Spring Training Media Day
We're On The Field With All Three Versions
by 00.19
Spring training is opening and the release of MLB 09: The Show is just a bit over a week away. Let that sink in for a second. In honor of America's pasttime arriving in our living rooms, we've got a host of new screenshots for the PS2 and PSP versions of the Sony exclusive baseball game. Of course, we've also got a fresh video trailer for the PS3 version, which I'm anticipating to be the baseball game of 2009.
There are a ton of new features I'm looking forward to in MLB 09, and the number one has to be online leagues with fantasy drafts. I didn't do too much online baseball playing last year, but that's something I plan to remedy starting next Wednesday. While we haven't officially set something up yet, I know there's some interest out there for a Gamervision MLB League. I'm figuring we let everyone have about a week or so to get comfortable with the game, then we set a date for a draft. Since the schedule can be completely customized, there won't be any problem accomodating each and every person who wants to play.
In the meantime, enjoy some of these screens. I know I'll also be picking up the PSP version because I'm just like that.
