ZOMG! New DSi colors are happening. You know what that means? Another 16 million DSis will be sold this holiday season. Pretty soon there are going to be more DS consoles in people's homes than there are bathrooms to put them in. I mean really, what's the world coming to?

The two new packages coming out are a metallic blue Mario bundle, complete with Dr. Mario Express and Mario Clock, and there's also a white Brain Age set, packed with games like Brain Age Express and Photo Clock. Boy, they are really going all out with the DSiWare garbage, aren't they? I get that you want to promote the DSiWare, but the best you can do is a bunch of trite crap that nobody's going to mess around with once they get a real game? Pretty sad. I guess since there were no new AAA Nintendo titles out before Black Friday to bundle the DSi with these are the sorts of measures you have to rely on. Not like it matters. These things could have come bundled with the plague, and people would still have bought them.

Personally, I enjoy the DS, but I can't wait for the day that some new handheld comes out that's actually able to compete with the damn thing. My PSP gets plenty of use, don't get me wrong, but the masses just don't seem to enjoy Sony's portable as much as they do the DSi. Oh well.

• Dr. Mario^™ Express: Mario once again dons his stethoscope to battle the forces of illness in this downloadable version of the classic puzzle game.
