Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. That's the title of Activision's next Spider-Man video game. Are you absolutely underwhelmed? Yeah, me too. Not only am I underwhelmed though, I'm extremely worried about the content of the next game. If there's anything I've learned from titles as horrible as this one, it's that there's going to be multiversal nonsense involved, and I don't want any of it.

Of course, this is just pure speculation on my part. I've actually got no idea what the game's about. That's not going to stop me from rampantly postulating possible story situations for the upcoming game. Perhaps the web-slinger will travel through all of space and time to fight the Beyonder and his army of terrifying Spider-clones. Or mayhaps, ol' webhead will be galavanting from alternate Earth to alternate Earth in an effort to save Aunt May from dying. The worst possible scenario would be if Spider-Man ended up meeting President Obama, causing massive power outages around the world before John Cusack had to hop in a hot tub to make it back in time to save the planet. If any of these stories is actually even remotely close to what happens in the game, I'll probably throw up. The game would be absolutely horrible, and turn people off of Spider-Man forever.

I guess we'll just have to wait for the magazine to come out for more details.
