Nintendo Breaks New Ground With Kid's Meals
Because When I Think Whoppers I Think Chain Chomp
by 00.19

Burger King has announced a line of Nintendo themed toys for their Kid's Meals. Finally, the holy union we've all been waiting for. Appearing in your child's burger-filled sack will be such inventive toys as Wind-Up Diddy Kong, Metroid Marble Maze, and Wind-Up Chain Chomp to name a few. Several of the toys will also use a miniature Wii controller which uses a magnet to interact with some of the toys, like the Floating Boo figure.
Personally, I think the King can do whatever he wants. He's never led me wrong in the past, and while I don't really know what kids want in their meals anymore, you can't go wrong with video game related material. Except with those Lego Batman toys. Those things weren't very good. I wonder if these toys will be in as high demand as the Wii this holiday season? Doubt it, but I wouldn't put it past people to go crazy for that one toy they can't get. Like when the Star Wars ones came out during the re-releases. You know what I'm talking about. Anyway, the King rules.

The King is still creepy. He's got all sorts of sneaking skills and can be anywhere in no-time flat. As I said, creepy.
I loved the SMB3 happy meal toys back in the day. That spring-loaded suction cup Raccoon Mario? Frickin' awesome.
These will probably not come close to how great those were.
@Oni:
The toys these kids get these days suck by comparison to the ones we got when we were kids. I wish I saved all of mine. They'd be worth a fortune by now.
I hear you Marc. Besides the plastic abominations they're passing as happy meal toys these days, every time I walk through the toy aisle at a store I wonder where all the good stuff went.
now if only their food was good.
