No longer will the American public be relegated to plain ol' black controllers for their PlayStation 3s. This fall, proud adopters of Sony's little console that could will be able to purchase blue and red colored DualShock 3 controllers. I must have the red one. Clearly, I have problems.

Engadget has a handful of pics of the controllers which are looking to add a bit of color to the otherwise cold darkness that is the PlayStation 3 palette. While the blue one does look nice, it doesn't hold a candle to the radiant red hue bestowed upon its analog bretheren. Both are due some point in October, and I can only hope that they come out during a pay week, because both Brutal Legend and Uncharted 2 come out that month, and I'd like to be able to pick all three of those items up.
