Series PlayStation Comic Store Update

Time for your weekly PlayStation Comic Store update. Check out this week’s selection of digital comics.
I may as well start calling this the “Marvel PlayStation Comic Store Update.” I mean with all the books they consistently populate the store with, it’s hard for anything else to stand out. Particularly when so many of the Marvel comics present are actually really good reads. This week sees the concluding arc of “Planet Hulk” from Incredible Hulk arrive, in addition to the very first chapter of “World War Hulk.” Hopefully that means the World War Hulk mini-series isn’t far behind. Having that entire storyline at your fingertips is definitely worth it. The whole creative team from Pak and Van Lente to Pagulayan and Romita should be commended for the great work they did on that run. Some of the other books this week are only all right, like Marvel Knights (seriously, who’s been dying to read that?), and the final Peter Milligan X-Men issues, and X-23’s mini-series isn’t all that bad, but sadly, the other comic companies don’t have a whole lot to offer. IDW’s Tank Girl: The Gifting at least has the distinction of having some sweet Ashley Wood art, and they also managed to sneak the final issue of All Hail Megatron out, but outside of that, you’re not looking at many good books. I’m dying for Red 5 to start releasing more of their content on the store because their books, Atomic Robo in particular, are quite good.

Yeah, I'd definitely like to see more variety. It would be nice for some smaller publishers to get their stuff on there, so maybe it will get more exposure.
