It’s a tad late, but let’s look in on this week’s edition of the PlayStation comic store update.

Not a very big week this time around, but there are still a few gems to pick out. There’s a nice, healthy dose of the early 60s X-Men, and those of you who checked last week’s offerings will be glad to find another five issues available. The real prize this week is the “Get Mystique” arc from Wolverine #62-66. Ron Garney and Jason Aaron are an awesome creative team, and their work on this storyline was so good, it prompted the creation of another entirely different Wolverine book, Wolverine: Weapon X. I don’t know how Garney’s art will translate to such tiny panels, as the whole of his layouts tend to speak better when viewed all at once, rather than piece by piece, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be checking these issues out. Surprisingly, EA’s Dragon Age comic appears, even though I haven’t even seen it in a comic shop yet. I’ve got no idea how good the book is, or what it’s even about, but fans of the franchise will probably find a few reasons to check it out.
