Good to see that there's still updates about Brutal Legend. Each week that goes by without hearing about this game, I'm a bit worried about it. Even though I know that everything is pretty much hunky-dory with Brutal Legend now, things weren't always so rosy, so occasionally I still have my doubts. Thankfully, these screenshots provide a nice dose of Metal-infused attitude to keep my anxiety sated.

As you can see above, even the main man himself is pretty stoked about these pics. It's almost as if he's telling me, "Hey man, everything is going to be cool as the other side of the pillow. Just relax, and get ready for the rock."

And here, we get to see just how much rocking we can expect, and by jove, it looks to be like there'll be a whole lotta rockin'. And you know what they say about things that have a whole lotta rockin'.

Ah, and here's my favorite of the bunch. Definitely getting a HP Lovecraft vibe from this bad boy. Reminds me a bit of some of the cool Frazetta covers from the 70s, too. Can't wait to see what the rest of the world looks like.

Sure, it's only a few screenshots, and not actual gameplay, but I've got faith that this project is definitely going to be pretty bad assed. I hope we get to see some actual in-game footage soon though. That stuff they showed at the VGAs just isn't going to be enough to keep me happy for much longer.
