Hey everyone, just your friendly neighborhood Reminder-Man here to remind you that the Bionic Commando multiplayer demo is now up on Xbox Live. Gamers with Gold account will be able to partake in 8-player deathmatches starring Capcom's performance enhanced hero.
I have to say, from what I've seen thus far, Bionic Commando seems like a pretty fun summer action title. What really gets me though, is the impracticality of the bionic components implemented as a replacement for Mr. Spencer's arm. It appears as if no consideration was given to how much weight the apparatus carries, thus being a major burden on the rest of Radd's body. I'd probably not say a word about it was the device smaller, or more like a real arm, but this thing is just enormous. Yes, I know it's just a game, but give me a break I'm trying to stretch this article out with some pertinent science that you may not have thought about when scoping screenshots.
Now, it is true that he's got leg enhancements as well, and there does seem to be a handful of tubing and wiring running to his chest for some reason, but if you were required to walk around with what I'm guessing is somewhere around 500+ lbs of machinery on just one arm, your spine would be thrown completely out of whack. Not to mention there's simply no way you'd be able to stand up straight without your spine receiving some sort of enhancement as well. Then at that point, your walking around with close to half-a-ton of mechanical parts, and that can't be good for your kneees. Sure, Capcom might come up with the science behind how it's all possible... but I doubt it. Hey, I'm just saying is all.

I got it! The gun is super dense and weighs 450 pounds. When he is holding it, it counter balances his bionic arm and distributes the massive weight evenly on his delicate spine.....Also, he's uhh...really strong....
