You might have heard about the as yet unofficially announced Resident Evil 5: Director's Cut in a video Coop posted late last night. What you didn't know was that during Sony's Tokyo Game Show press conference, Shuhei Yoshida busted out the as yet unnamed PS3 motion controllers to play through a bit of Resident Evil 5: Director's Cut. Yeah, looks like something I'm definitely going to have to buy.

While there hasn't been any footage shown outside of the press conference, you have to think it'll show up somewhere soon. No word from Microsoft as to what the Director's Cut will entail for them, or if they're even going to be getting it. The only other thing we know at this point is that both the motion controller and RE5:DC are due in Spring 2010. Oh, and that I want both of them very badly. I'm curious to see just what changes are going to be made, and what extra content we're going to be getting. We know that there'll be more of Jill Valentine, but just in what capacity remains to be seen. Hopefully Capcom will have something to add later this weekend at TGS.
