Stupid rumors, why must you continue to ruin my mornings. Some Chinese website is claiming to have photographs straight from the factory floor of a slim version of the PlayStation 3. What's that smell you ask? Oh, it's just the bullshit.

Before siding with all the other jabronies who are wetting themselves in anticipation of this ridiculous looking machine, keep these few things in mind. These photos look to be cell-phone quality. Which means someone took their phone onto the work floor, which is something technology companies like Sony don't allow to prevent corporate espionage. You laugh, but it's true. For the most part.

Secondly, there's really no reason for Sony to begin work on a slim model. If they're trying to create a SKU that will be cheaper, why not just price drop the models you already have instead of starting production on an entirely new model? Sell what you have before you worry about selling the new stuff.

Thirdly, damn is this shit fake. A random site + slightly less than crystal clear pictures + not seeing more than one model = B.S. Listen, I've got a PhD in bullshit, and as your doctor, I can tell you this is all just another lie propagated by the man to fuck with us.
