Second Series of Batman: Arkham Asylum Figures Revealed
Three Bads And A Little Batty
by 00.19
The first wave of Arkham Asylum figures was good, but it was definitely lacking in Bane. Series two of DC Direct's line looks to rectify that situation by including the Brazilian behemoth alongside another Batman, Poison Ivy, and Zsasz. Now, if there was ever a character who didn't need an action figure, it's Zsasz, but I'll gladly take all three of the others.
Sadly these figures aren't even due in stores until next February, which means you'll probably have these in your hands around the same time the video game sequel arrives in stores. That said, these totally look like they'll be worth the wait, and for the price (which is around $15-$20), you can't go wrong. I mean, look at that Bane. It's an incredible sculpt that recreates the in-game character pretty well, aside from the fact that he'll be the same size as all the rest of the figures.

I want them all. On my desk. Now.
I like the Batman one, but the others are too day-glo for my collection.
I gotta say, they look a little silly, especially considering the relatively serious tone of the source material.
