Tales of Vesperia Prequel Film On The Way
Oh, And A PS3 Port.

Bandai Namco announced at a press conference that Tales of Vesperia will be coming to the PlayStation 3 this fall, along with a plethora of features exclusive to the port of the popular Xbox 360 game.
According to 1Up.com, the new features will not only include new side quests, skits, Mystic Artes, and costumes, but it will also boast Patty Fleur and Flynn as playable characters. New voice over dialogue has also been added, and reportedly the additional script is as long as the one for the original game.

I'm all for really good RPGs making their way to bigger audiences, but I never really got into the Tales series. Though since the upcoming animated feature Tales of Vesperia: First Strike is supposed to be a prequel to the game, if that's entertaining enough, I might possibly seek out the game to continue following the characters. Or maybe I'll just watch someone from the office play through the game. I find RPGs to be very enjoyable even if I'm just watching, so that seems much more likely to happen. At least that way I can continue reading the 2009 Baseball Prospectus.
