DC Direct's plans for Mass Effect don't end with the recently announced first series of action figures. A second wave of characters will be arriving towards the end of this year, including Miranda, Legion, Mordin, and Garrus. Even though the first batch of figures hasn't yet hit stores, I can tell that you're already eagerly anticipating having your first toy based on a character that's played by Chuck's Yvonne Strahovski.

There aren't currently any pictures or mock ups of the figures in question, but they're going to fit perfectly in line with the rest of DC Direct's products as far as quality and articulation are concerned. The Mass Effect brand is ripe for more series after this, with dozens of possible characters, armor sets, and powers to create some decent variation. Personally, I'm holding out hope for a third series that will hopefully contain a Subject Zero figure. Then I can re-enact all the horribly awkward romance scenes from Mass Effect 2. What? Like you wouldn't do the same.
