Those are the immortal words of one Optimus J. Prime. Leader of the Autobots. Protector of the human race. He's helped save the world two times in the last three years, and Microsoft has now seen fit to release Avatar items as an homage to his and the rest of the Autobots' efforts in keeping our planet safe from the Decepticon menace.

I don't know about you, but that Optimus Prime outfit is looking mighty spiffy. I'm not sure if it's $3 worth of spiffy, but it's definitely worth considering. Thankfully, there's no Sam Witwicky costume in sight. Aside from the few items pictured above, this Thanksgiving you'll also be able to grab a BumbleBee helmet and a variety of other shirts adorned with various insignias depicting your allegiance to our robot saviors. I do think these items come a bit late in the season, but then again, when the documentary Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was in theaters the Avatar marketplace wasn't fully up and running. Anyhow, if you find these items to your fancy, and I believe there'll be at least one GV staffer who does, you'll be able to pick them up starting tomorrow.

Transformers fans can show their allegiance to the Autobots or Decepticons with new Transformers clothing and helmets for their Xbox Avatar, available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace on Thursday, November 26. Xbox LIVE users will be able to purchase a variety of new items for their Avatars, including Optimus Prime, Megatron and Bumblebee helmets, along with a variety of Transformers, Autobots and Decepticons t-shirts for both male and female Avatars. The helmets will be available for 240 MS Points and the t-shirts will be available for 80 MS Points.
