Yakuza 3 Dated...
... For Japan.
by 00.19

According to Kotaku Sega has set a release date for the PS3 exclusive Ryu Ga Gotoku 3, or as it's known stateside, Yakuza 3. The game is due to hit Japanese retail shelves on February 26th, and people who pre-order over there will get a copy of Kamutai magazine, which showcases the fictional hostesses that populate clubs in the game.
While the three girls on the cover are much more creepy than they are attractive, the important thing is Yakuza 3 can't be far behind in coming to America. Of course, if the game makes it over here late next year, it's already got some stiff competition from another PS3 exclusive, God of War 3, which is tentatively due in October, not to mention Borderlands and Final Fantasy XIII, which are also scheduled for late next year. I know I'm pretty much the only person who played the underrated Yakuza 2, and subsequently I'm the only person even remotely looking forward to the next installment, but that doesn't mean you can't start getting excited. Stay tuned to Gamervision for more news on this title as it arrives. Here's a trailer to tide you over until then.
