Yakuza 3 In The US Still Might Happen
Excuse Me While I Change My Shorts.

There was a time just thinking about Yakuza 3 made me consider the possibility of a chance of the probability that I may or may not, depending on the mood I'm in at the time, shed a tear. Not ever getting to play a game that I was looking forward to more than any other game in the history of games was a feeling I wasn't quite prepared to deal with. For months, rumors of the non-localization of Sega's Yakuza 3 have been making the rounds. Now a Sega employee, a Mr. Aaron Webber, has come forth to set the record straight.
Over on the US PlayStation blog, right in the middle of a lengthy discussion about Sega's Valkyria Chronicles 2, Mr. Webber had this to say:
Yakuza 3 is not cancelled – and the possibility for localizing it does, in fact, still exist.
The original news story that went around about Yakuza 3 being declined for the US was false, and localizing the game still remains a big point of discussion for many people here at SEGA, and especially those of us on SEGA’s community team.I know it’s far from an announcement, but I just felt you should know that the chance does still exist.
So you're saying there's a chance? That's all I need. Seriously, I haven't been this excited about an announcement since Whopper Wednesdays. Now I'm even more motivated to go back and finish Yakuza 2, get reaccquainted with all the Yakuza 3 reviews and news, and even start following news about Yakuza 4. There's an old saying, "Conan, what is best in life?" To be honest with you, getting Yakuza 3 over here in the states? That would be best in life. Make it happen Sega.

Every time you talk about this game I become more intrigued. Damnit, if this doesn't happen I am probably gonna be really angry at you for the VG cock tease.
Good news for PS3 owners. The first two were well received, too bad not enough people picked them up.
