Do you eat when you're playing a game?
The most basic question evar
Like, you know, do you always have a bag of chips and a bottle of Shasta at your side at all times, or do you just occasionally munch on whatever's available at the time?
For myself, I'm a total junk food addict. I always try to have a big cup of Coke (or cherry coke) and a snack cake (think Little Debbie or Hostess) on hand when I'm level grinding or w/e.
I also don't usually eat my dinner at the table; I just go and grab a plate, dump some rice and corn beef or whatever my mom cooked and then run right back to my room.
If it seems like I'm rambling, I'm sorry. I am very tired and the guy sitting next to me really needs to stop sneaking sips from his drink or I'm going to have to call my supervisor on his ass.

I like a nice cold bottle of beer when I'm playing a game.
One of my favorite things to do is play games while drinking coffee. Actually, I like coffee while doing anything...
I used to smoke, and smoke while gaming, and I found that I replaced that with snacking compulsively during gaming for awhile. When I started losing the weight I put on after I quit smoking, I had to nip that in the bud. I will occasionally have a small snack while gaming, but usually just a glass of water, and perhaps a cup of coffee.
Still get the overwhelming desire to light up and chow down during load screens, though...
I'm with Sean. I tend to do a PBJ or cereal if I'm feelin' hungry.

Oh yeah, Loading screens. If there's that or an Overly Long Fighting animation, to me that's time for a pee break. XDDDD
Cold beer/six pack on the floor next to me. Occasionally I'll snack, but for the most part, I don't like to get grease and/or crumbs on my controller.

I used to joke whenever she opened a can, "RELAPSING YOU'RE RELAPSING MOMMY!"

I don't eat while playing for several reasons, my poor ass can't afford food for purposes other than meals, and I don't like to get controllers icky. Though if its meal time I will rarely take a break to eat it.
Only in slower-paced games. I played through both console Fire Emblems with a nice glass of beer in hand. Animal Crossing can be played with just the nunchuk most of the time, so that leaves my right hand free for eating/drinking.
A few years back, saturday morning meant wake n' bake with Elder Scrolls Oblivion and a bag of those BBQ spiral fritos.
Yeah. I miss those old Halo 2 nights with my friends. We break out the TV from my room and use the living room's as well. My buddy who lived LITERALLY across the street had an Xbox as well. We'd do 2v2 and 4v4 Halo 2, eat pizza, and drink some beer.
...Ahhh... The old days.
i never eat while gaming... i am a level 12 clutz so food near expensive electronics is a deadly combination. But I agree with Sarah about coffee, I also find that while gaming I tend to chew gum or have breath mints or something (a quick fix for the munchie craving)
When I was younger if I would attempt to eat before gaming my brother wouldn't allow me near the video games for sometimes a week at a time... tough love schools you quick- without clayfighters my childhood was nothing- and i couldnt have that
Most of the time it's some sugary beverage, or beer, with some junk food. Sometimes I even make runs (when company is over) to McDonalds or some other crappy dollar menu-ish place.
At other times I just find myself with something to drink and my eyes wide open to the game itself.
If there's not a beer or a rum and coke in the vicinity while I'm playing a game, call the hospital, because something has gone awry.
