  well i dont own a PSP but from what i have gathered and seen played i would say God of War, Wipeout Pure, and Locoroco would be good choices.

  Agreed with HeyKid's choices, I'm also a big fan of Hot Shots Open Tee 2, Disgaea, the Final Fantasy remakes (if you don't already have 10 versions of FF I and II), and Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles.

  If you have any affection for FF7 then I highly recommend Crisis Core. Not only was it some nice backstory in a world long cherished, but it's an excellent blending of the turn based move sets from Final Fantasy and real time action.

  Also, if you aren't morally opposed to it, mod your PSP as soon as you get. Best thing I ever did to any console I've ever owned.

  ANY of the Capcom games. Monster Hunters, Mega man Powered Up, Maverick Hunter X, Powerstone Collection, Viewtiful Joe fighter, the Capcom Classic Collections, you just may want to stay clear of the Ghost 'n Goblins game if you don't like brutally difficult tear your hair out gaming.

  By modding, you mean hot-rodding it so's I can play PS1 games? I'm not really against that. It'd be nice to play stuff like Vagrant Story or Persona 2 on the go.

  Yup, that's what I meant by modding. It's breathed new life into my near dead PS1 collection.

  As for money, the other nice thing that a modded system will allow you to do is play roms of PSP games without the UMD. What this means, obviously, is that you can play any PSP game for which you have the rom.

  While this should of course only be used for games of which you own legitamate copies, that's not necessarily the way it's used. Torrenting is a very powerful tool. *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*
