Xbox Live users who don't happen to live in Canada (jerks) should be happy to hear that the US Beta for 1 vs. 100 will be given a start date within the next few hours. A twitter page for the game updated (tweeted?) yesterday with the above message, signaling the countdown. For those keeping count, this is the first time in gaming history something has gone to Canada before America.

For those who don't know, 1 vs. 100 is the first Xbox Live Arcade game to allow for real-life prizes to be given, and will reward players with Xbox Live Marketplace Points for successful play. Not only that, but it'll be free to Xbox Live Gold members, which means there's no excuse not to show your lack of trivia knowledge.
