7-11 Breaks Gears of War 2 Street Date
But How Widespread is it?

00.19 told me that Tycho from Penny-Arcade found some copies of Gears of War 2 at 7-Eleven. It isn't out until Friday, so that's quite a leak for such a large title. I wondered if it was a huge, widespread thing, so I ran down to my local store and guess what?
Four copies, all of which are now sitting in the Gamervision office. I believe this is officially FOR THE WIN. Call your local Slurpee-distributor and see if they have any copies, and I’ll see you fellow COGs online. Tonight. Or now. Now works.

Gears of War 2?!? Psssshhht. I just went to 7-Eleven and just bought a copy of COD:World at War, God of War 3, World of Warcraft:WotLk, and Gears of War 3!!!

WOW. This is big. i really gotta try going to 7 - 11 tomorrow. Gamervision is so lucky as well as everyone else who went and bought it today.
my friend already got his from Amazon.
Just got an email saying my Amazon pre-order will arrive tomorrow. I apparently did get the special edition, so there goes the idea of returning it to 7-eleven.
I'm going to try and get this from my mother this weekend while she's visiting. No promises as of yet, though. Keep on the lookout!
