“Hitler” Not Allowed to Race Karts
Nintendo Prohibits Nazi Online Racing
by Coop
According to sources, Mario Kart Wii players attempting to enter online races with Miis named “Hitler” have been turned away, with the message below appearing on the screen:
"You cannot access Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection using this Mii name. Please change your Mii name and try again, you freaking racist."
Alright, maybe part of that was made up. Apparently Nintendo is putting its foot down against any possibility of a person doing anything negative with their online service – ever. Banning “Hitler” seems like a silly way to do that (and too little too late, Japan), as his importance in history is inarguable and banning people from playing as characters with his name is one of the strangest forms of censorship since Microsoft disallowing the code numbers “E74” from being entered in any games that should regularly allow it. You can still be Hitler, you just can't call him that. The names "Adolphie," "Hitliecakes," and "MrHitty" should all still fly, and small moustaches are alright by Nintendo.
So far there is no word as to whether characters with the name “Hirohito,” Japanese Emperor during World War 2, will be banned, but we will be sure to run a series of tests in the near future to see if your favorite dictator is a playable character in Mario Kart Wii. If I can't speed through Rainbow Road as Idi Amin I don't want to play at all!

What if you name was actually Hitler?
as long as I can still name myself "giantvagina" i'm happy.
it would be awesome if that was really the error message.
I really enjoy the photoshopped Hitler with his little swastika on the front of his cart.
Somehow Pol Pot is still burning up the leaderboards.
