Those new comercials are really hit or miss with people. Some think they are taking the series too seriously and trying to paint an overly dramatic portrait of a game thats plot has never been more than mediocre, others think it is a nice attempt at breaking that view apart.
Either way, the diorama is sweet. Here is Microsoft's site that lets you virtually explore the thing. It didn't work too great for me but it still allowed me to get a nice, close look at some of the "action." Also I threw the newest "Believe" commercial here just in case you haven't seen it. I am just that nice.

I understand you have a thing for Halo...but surely there are some things about it that has made it an all time favorite. I know a Halo fan, but at least she's able to be un-biased about it and admit the plot is fairly shallow and the game play is somewhat...lacking in things other than shooting and blowing shit up.
I mean its a good game, but the hype is insane! mountain dew, comcast, target and even nascar are even getting in the act for it. Not a bad commercial, i find the storyline interesting, but i mean honestly (no one kill me, please) this game is known for it's multiplayer.
Your right, it is like one of the best multiplayer games out there. But, I enjoy the story too.
First of all that is a sweet ad. It really makes me look forward to me a squad of three of my friends tearing through every last covenant soldier from beginning to end of the game. The multi-player is going to be insane, but I'm really looking forward to how much more they raise the bar for story-line co-op. The plot-line is very much like babylon 5. I wonder how it'll all turn out.
