If you don't want to spend more money this year, I suggest you don't watch the Aliens vs. Predator trailer above. The video, entitled "Kill Moves," is so fantastic that it could sell the game to a Catholic priest. He might just skip Sunday Mass to play it, too.

Ah, who are we kidding? You're a gamer, you want to game. Go ahead and watch, and put aside $100 now to pick it up. What, you aren't going to buy the Hunter Edition? Ha! Sure you aren't. I suppose you don't need a replica face hugger, just like you don't need to draw your next breath, and how you don't need to throw this thing at your cat when it pisses you off. That's what I thought, $100.

It's almost like they were worried people were going to mistake this for an E rated game. The video might be the most over-the-top trailer released in a long time, and really shows players most of what they can expect to read about on the back of the box in the little ESRB section. Tearing heads off? Check. Shooting Aliens point-blank in the mouth with a gun? Double check. If you weren't already sold on this game, and this didn't do it for you, than I really don't know what to say. The AvP franchise is one of the most beloved by PC shooter fans, and this excursion is hitting consoles in a big, big way. It might not be as cool as Aliens: Colonial Marines, but at least it's coming out.
