Amazon Puts PS3 80GB On Sale
$399 too Much? Try $50 Less!
by Coop

Today's Amazon Gold Box deal is the 80GB PlayStation 3, which normally retails for $399.99. The online retailer has marked the console down by $50, meaning anyone still in the market for Sony's next-gen device can grab it for $349.99. Today is a good day, indeed!
After Sony's E3 press conference there's really no excuse (save for, you know, money) for not picking up the PlayStation. Later this year sees the release of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, MAG, and White Knight Chronicles, with Heavy Rain and God of War III hitting early in 2010. Even if the claims of '09 being the "Year of PlayStation" are a bit of an overstatement, there's no real argument that it's going to be a great year to own the system.

80GB PS3 for only $100 more than the PSP Go. Just pointing it out...
@ Sean - I don't think even this price break will help at the moment. People just don't understand the powers of a PS3 in their house. Bluray, HD, Internet browser, video chat for up to six people, hours of game play for multiple games, the PSN exclusive games, and anything else you can think of in a console! You can even partition the hard drive to be able to use the X64 version of Ubuntu Linux if you so wish it. (I didn't tell you that!)
