Amazon Slips, Reveals Layton Sequel Release Date
I've Got It!
by Coop

Heads are going to roll at Amazon headquarters this Memorial Day morning, as they've dropped the ball and revealed a release date for Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. It's since been removed, but can still be found in Google's cache and in the image above. If this is to be believed, that means the next Layton title will be out late summer, finding itself with an August 24th release date.
Professor Layton and the Curious Village is one of the best games on the Nintendo DS, so the news that its sequels are coming stateside is fantastic news. It's been confirmed in the past that they would eventually be released here, but they've taken their sweet time localizing it, and every bit of further confirmation is very good news. Hopefully we'll hear more at E3 in the ways of a completely complete confirmation, and no one at Amazon has to lose their heads over this slip up.
