Another Retailer Delays Alpha Protocol
Gamefly Listing Throws Release Date Into Air, Shoots It
by Coop

A few days ago, Amazon and Gamestop changed the listing of Alpha Protocol to an October 2009 release to June 2010. After doing some research, however, it looked like they were the only ones, meaning that it could have just been a few knee-jerk reactions to something behind the scene. Now, online rental website Gamefly has, too, pushed the title, moving the release to "TBA." This... isn't good, especially for anyone who was anxiously anticipating Obsidian's RPG/Shooter hybrid. Check it out here.Well, there's that. That said, if this turns out to be false it wouldn't be the first time Gamefly messed up a delay, since they recently got caught announcing the cancellation of The Agency (something Sony Online Entertainment was somewhat surprised to hear). When asked for a comment, SEGA, directed us to someone else to talk about the rumor, meaning that it is, indeed, still a rumor. We've followed up with that person, who we can only assume is this guy, to see if we can get an official word. We'll be over here holding our breaths in the meantime. Also, check out this video, it's pretty freaking awesome. We'll keep you in the loop.
