Quick! Grab your wrist blade! The Assassin's Creed II twitter updated tonight with a first look at the Limited Edition bundle for the 2009 sequel to Ubisoft's hit franchise. Gamers who purchase Assassin's Creed 2 at Gamestop and pay an as of yet revealed premium will find themselves the proud owners of the game, an art book, two exclusive in-game maps, and a figurine of the protagonist in his "jazz hands" pose. Seriously, I laugh every time, he looks like he's about to break into song.

While no price has been given, it doesn't appear that Ubisoft is going the Modern Warfare 2 route and smacking together a mega-bundle just for the hell of it, meaning a $70-80 price tag is expected. Also unknown is the size of the statue (since the camera trickery in the image makes it look like it might be 12 inches tall) and the nature of the in-game maps. The image shows that they are going to be the Palazzo Medici and the Santa Maria dei Frari in Venice, but that doesn't really give any information. If Assassin's Creed II follows the prequel's motions of being open-world, which it does, the idea of bonus maps doesn't make much sense. Unless they're copying Arkham Asylum's take on challenge rooms, which I'm totally fine with.

This might be the only special edition I'm picking up this holiday season. I grabbed the first and didn't regret it (Altaïr still guards my desk), leaving me absolutely no choice here.

What about you?
