Assassin's Creed II Special Edition Unboxing
What's in the Box?
by Coop

As you might know by now, Gamervision takes Collector's Editions very, very seriously. You can be sure that at least one person in the office will be picking up one or another, and then chatting about it the following day. What can we say, we love plastic stuff! It's also cool to see developers try and one-up each other, each trying to give gamers more bang for their buck. As of now, the winner is likely BioShock, which came with a fantastic Big Daddy figure for a measly $10, or Modern Warfare 2 with its night vision goggles, since, you know, they technically have a use outside of sitting on a shelf.
That crown might be shifting, however, since we've been sent some images of the new Assassin's Creed II Special Edition that make it look like the new lord of all things materialistic. Yes, yes, we already knew what was in the box, but the images below give a great sense of scale, and show exactly how awesome the $80 box is.
The original image made it look big, but I never thought the Ezio figure would be as large as it is. It's a good 8 inches tall, which means it should tower over the other toys figures on my desk. I don't know about you, but I consider this $20 well spent in this wonderful economic climate, and will be extremely happy explaining why I can't pay for something important next year while waving around a large statue of a video game character. Go-go-gadget wise spending!

At least the game is contained in an actual game case. I'm still annoyed at the way the special edition tin from the first Assassin's Creed Collector's Edition sticks out on my shelf. Figure is AWESOME too.
I'm just going to be picking up the standard edition.
looks cool. wish america was getting the black edition, but oh well.
Ezio Auditore da Firenze has the upper hand.
I have mine pre-ordered and will be picking it up at gamestop monday/tuesday. I'm really excited to play it!
Regular edition is all I need. Figure looks sweet, though.
