As I said when I reviewed the game, AudioSurf might be the quintessential example of a fantastic indie game. Made with a brilliant concept and sleek execution, without the backing of a major publisher, it quite simply blew me away. Now it has crossed paths with the immense homebrew/modding community and born a match made in heaven, take a look:



It's called BodySurf, and it is awesome, in every sense of the word. Using the Wii Remote and Balance board the otherwise relaxing experience becomes an auditory and material experience, one that Nintendo should pay close attention to when developing games using the board. They are playing the game on the PC and not the Wii, before your hopes get up. Not that it would matter anyway.

In the past, I have agreed that a port of this game to consoles would be interesting, but never did I think of this match, and now I anxiously await Nintendo to jump on and make this a reality for console owners. Come on, guys, the internet will love you for, like, evers.
