This new trailer for Borderlands is fantastic, bringing my excitement for this game to a much higher new level. I was really anticipating the release after seeing a demonstration at last year's E3, with its Diablo meets Half-Life approach to gaming, and this just brings it even further. It's very obvious that the new art style, if nothing else, has given Gearbox a gust to power their sails. They're passionate about this game, that's entirely obvious, and seems to resonate through every inch of the game.

Beyond showing off great gameplay and the stellar art direction, the trailer scores points for being remarkably well put together. The music, the text, the directing, all stellar. If this video doesn't get you excited for Borderlands... well... then I'm sorry to hear that. Because it means you are dead. And have no soul. And are dumb. And smell.

On a side note: does anyone know what song that is? I need it right now.
